What is the difference between arthritis medicines Mobic and Celebrex? - whats the difference between celebrex and mobic
I take Celebrex 200 mg every two days for arthritis. My friend says he has RN Mobic 15 mg and is the only drug for arthritis requires the hospital because it is safer and more effective than Celebrex. I want to know why it's safe and appropriate, that the side effects?

About Celebrex has been: Is it true that a bit better for the stomach (gastrointestinal tract) as a rule and has no harmful side effects (increased morbidity and mortality) as Vioxx and Bextra.
Mobic is less specific inhibitor of COX-2 and has never been proven to be better than Celebrex.
Since it is not a generic mobic, Celebrex is so expensive.
If you opt for a cheaper alternative to Celebrex, etodolac, I recommend, because it is too general, and in general better tolerated than ibuprofen or naprosyn.
From a personal standpoint, my mother Celebrex is well tolerated, but I had problems with the stomach Mobic. As always, YMMV.

Celebrex is the so-called COX-2 inhibitor class of drugs. There is much less chance of stomach irritation than other drugs for arthritis.
I seriously doubt that Mobic used the only hospital in the arthritis medicine his friend. What happens when someone allergic to them?
